The Dandenong Club was formed back in 1955, and today boasts over 10,000 members, making it one of the biggest clubs in the country. The club’s outstanding facilities include bars, a restaurant, function and gaming rooms and a recently built world class undercover green. The club has a strong focus of promoting their club, venue and the sport of bowls.
The Dandenong Club were the best performed team of the inaugural season, and picked up a whopping $155,000 in prizemoney for the year after a 1st, 2nd and 3rd placing at the three events and also being awarded the Ultimate Team of 2019. The Dandenong Club have put themselves on the map after an incredible 2019, they are now regarded as one of the most progressive bowling clubs in the world of bowls.
Unsurprisingly the team have opted to secure their 2019 line-up by pre-selecting Northern Ireland’s Gary Kelly, Australian gun Barrie Lester and Australian legend Wayne Turley. The team is sponsored by the Dandenong Club and Blest Wines.
